I'm a psych major at the University of Dallas in Irving, TX (ironic location, no?), NOT to be confused with the University of Texas at Dallas (which, ironically, is actually in Richardson). I'm taking a year off to work and decompress from my senior year, then grad school of some form (MSSW, MA, M.Psy, I can't decide). My other interests include clinical psychology, mental health advocacy, women's issues, trauma and violence survivorship. I'm Catholic and proud of it, but I'm extremely open-minded and have friends of all religious/spiritual backgrounds. I'm a music nerd, been playing the piano since I was 7 and singing since I could talk roughly, and I own over 300 cds that I'm currently in the process of ripping onto my computer. I crochet and recently taught myself how to knit, but that's a work in progress, and I can usually be found either crocheting or reading (or both) if I don't have any school work to do (which is a rare occasion these days).
